Adeboyejo Oluwasegun David popularly known as First class emerged chairman on the 9th of August after dissolution of the Akinbo Afolabi (Kempes) led administration.
He became the chairman after he won 5 to 4 to the Shagamu constituency.
Speaking with Campus Mirror, Adeboyejo says the position is challenging due to the fact that it is a very regarded one and you have to be plain, neutral, treat every aspirant as equal, not being biased and not getting disrespected.
Speaking on his plans for the upcoming elections, he mentioned that restructuring and revolution will make everything go in the proper direction such that the best candidate emerges in top position.
Adeboyejo further advised aspirants to never stop believing in themselves and never to give up because the beginning is challenging but in the long run the best winner wins.
When asked on his view on political godfatherism, he said he believes in candidate's self development not help from leaders. "If the aspirants are focused and determined, they can succeed all by themselves.", he said.
When asked when the campaign will start, he said the campaign has already started but the price fees are not yet out but the ban has been lifted.
"The campaign will last for 21 days after the assumption of office according to the SUG constitution. The price of the forms will be decided by the committee. After the prices have been fixed, It will be passed to the media and general population."
Adeboyejo further added his team is fully prepared to give OOUites the best they deserve.
